The International Communion of the Blue Cross and Blue Crescent is a non-governmental humanitarian agency that aims to create interfaith interaction, dialogue, unity, and mutual support. It provides spiritual guidance, counselling, and prayer in disaster-affected regions and promotes spiritual awareness, education, and hope to disaster-vulnerable communities. The International Communion is an interfaith family of affiliating churches, mosques, synagogues, temples, and church communities that are interested in positive, cooperative, and constructive interaction between different faith communities. It is comprised of the International Church of the Blue Cross, the International Mosque of the Blue Crescent, the International Synagogue of the Blue Crystal, and the International Temple of the Blue Crystal.
